Smells like malty hay, not displeasing at all, which you would think considering this beers market appeal. Clear, light, boring to look at, no head retention at all. The taste is a bit surprising at first but then its not too bad, malty and a bit hoppy, not too much but you can taste it there. The carbonation saves the flavour in the end. Crisp and no real aftertaste.

Mar 12, 2010 classic lager that doesn’t separate itself from the crowd. Does have the Canadian spin on it.

Mar 2, 2010 Agree with others regarding the corny aroma. Looks like any other micro. Nice beer to pound after a good workout - counterproductive I know.

Feb 28, 2010 473ml can. Pours yellow, with very little carbonation, and minimal off-white head. My first Blue in possibly a decade. Smell is sweet corn, and malt. Doesn’t smell bad, but the aroma’s are VERY faint. The taste is sweet malt, bread, almost no hops, and a strange finish of tomato and pencil shavings?

Feb 23, 2010 Nose is pale lagery - some corn, some bread, a touch of sulfur. Golden pour, pale gold actually. No head. Somewhat corny, lightly sweet bready malt. Crisp finish. I had 4 pints in an hour, so it wasn’t that bad @ 1.50 a pint.

Feb 20, 2010 Pours pale yellow into a shaker. Bright white head quickly recedes to hug rim. Sour corn and marshmallow aromas. Crisp sweet adjunct with a lasting marshmallow finish.

Feb 16, 2010 Bottle from Kegs & Barrels in Plano, TX. Pours a light clear gold with white fizzy head. Aroma of very faint malt and a very light hop citrus. Flavor is very much the same. Mouth feel is light body, watery and over carbonated. Overall, it doesn’t stand out but it’s an easy drinker.
