There I said it, but the really odd thing is fuggles smells like YOUR farts so therefore it isn’t exactly a bad smell. Tea colored with a frothy white head. Light floral and citrus sweet hops with more floral notes in the finish and aftertaste. A plesant beer to drink.

Not meant to be a blockbuster IPA, which is fine with me. The Fuggles really shine through. They’re a rough hop, sort of woody, and with a surprising grapefruit rind note at the end. Maybe that’s just the bitter, however, as it is quite dry and borders on powder. Long afterglow. But I like English hops and think this is good. TeamTrappist (517), jericho, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Feb 21, 2010 Bottle. Poured a rich amber with a thin head. Nose was malty with some light hop notes, but they were light and not floral, did I get a bottle that was not too fresh? quite possibly. Body was a bit creamy, and had a peppery and malty finish. Not a bad session beer. MmmcKay (401), Brentwood, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 17, 2010 Pours golden orange with a pretty big head. Aroma is a bit flat. Some floral and apple aromas. Spiced apple sauce. Tastes relatively juicy. Bit of bitterness, but mild for an IPA. dimenhetfield (312), , Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 5, 2010 The color is light gold with brownish tints. The foam is off white, that sits around the rim nicely. The aroma and flavor is both dry and hoppy. DScanlon (70), Florida, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Feb 1, 2010 Pours golden/orangey, some white head. Aromas of burnt malt, pine-sol. I honestly think this was a bad batch or something, taste is some lighter malts, but burnt, some weird chemical flavor (I said it tasted like burnt hair), and a weird extremely bitter (but with no hop flavor whatsoever) aftertaste that linger long enough to screw with the next beer you have. Not impressed, I really do hope this was a bad batch. william146 (71), Winterville, North Carolina, USA

Full head, good bubbles. Light, airy scent. Taste was biting yet refreshing/light.
