Aroma has sweet malts, citrus and piney hops, and caramel. Taste is of sweet caramel, chewy pine resin, some grapefruit. The taste is a touch better than the nose. Quite malty, but in a tasty way. Nice resiny presence. Medium bodied with a touch of alcohol, the blend is fine. Finishes to the sweet side of bittersweet. This is nicely tasty in an older style way. 13.7

Lighter orange color with an aromatic earthy/herbal characteristic. Little bit of haze. Taste is earthy and piney with a healthy dose of bitterness. Feels like how a pale ale should taste. Herbal notes come around the middle...coriander and lemongrass. Very drinkable. Impressive effort.
