COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We love all kinds of farmhouse ales. But the original farmhouse ales weren’t big beers - they were beers you could drink while working in the hot sun all day. Our 1/2 ale reaches back to that tradition - it’s a dry, hoppy, citrusy, and delicious saison all at 3.4% Alc. By Vol. In fact, you CAN have everything.

corkyrory66 (6651) - BELGIUM - SEP 24, 2020

Rated from old notes. Draught@Brooklyn Brewery. Slightly cloudy pale golden color, frothy white head. Wild yeast notes, butter and hops. Medium-light body, medium-light carbonation. Not bad, could pair with fish?

33cl bottle. Poured a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is malty, saison yeast, grassy citrus, fake sugar, mineral. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a light, watery, crisp, light dry hop bitter palate. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation.

Flat, tasteless with weird residue at the bottom of the bottle... Lots of foam that spilled out of the bottle when opened - beer wasn't shaken.

p0urmeac0ld0ne (791) - Merthyr Tydfil, WALES - JAN 8, 2018
An interesting one. Bottled, it gives off the appearance of a brown ale, with the label style and all. However, it pours a pale yellow. For 3.4% ABV it packs a hell of a punch and is incredibly full bodied. Zesty, funky saison with massive citrus overtones. Lots of hop bitterness follows the highly carbonated mouthfeel, and a lasting impression of vanilla lingers too. Really took me off guard. Brilliant stuff.
