kaser (6484) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 21, 2015Very dark and murky orange pour from bottle. Poured with so much foam it filled the glass, took forever to that to settle to take the first sip. Has a dank grapefruit, yeasty, malty, and fruity aroma. Yeasty and tropical fruit flavor. Pretty tasty for being a little older. Foam head lasted the whole beer
crossovert (17165) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - SEP 25, 2014UPDATED: SEP 26, 2014 Looks like this came out in July? Not the worst amount of time to get it to the states. 500ml bottle. Hoping it is okay still, just hit the shelves in Chicago. It pours a hazed amber with a huge foamy white head that leaves lots of webbed lacing. The smell is decidedly fruity, very fruity, berry-like hops, apricot jam, golden raisin, som eherb and citrus. It smells like it is staling but it held up surprisingly nicely. The head refuses to die. The flavor is again berry-tinged, some citrus rind, rather tangy medium to low bitterness. Very interesting flavors in this one, wonder what yeast was used. The malt is just barely there keeping it super dry yet balanced. Not bad really.
Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUL 26, 2014from Erzbierschof - cloudy and pretty unappetizing dirty brown colour; no foam left; solid hop presence, mainly fruity (mango and apricots), yeasty and with notes of marzipan; full-bodied, pretty thick, rounded palate and a moderate carbonation; very bitter, a light residual sweeteness and a long hoppy fruity finish (peaches, mango and quince) - some better filtration would be cool
