COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This sweet stout has been added cold water extract from a Mexican ecological single estate coffee. The result is a discrete coffee aroma that mixes with the slightly burnt licorice aromas from the dark malts combined with spices. The flavor is slightly sweet with an average palate and moderate bitterness and aftertaste.

This stout is black with moderate nougat colored foam. Good aroma of dark malt with a little bit of coffee aroma. Carbonation is soft and contributes to a very mellow and soft mouth feel, where coffee notes blend really well with little English licorice and a little dark chocolate, while a malt sweetness with slight roasted tones are pressing in the background. Bitterness is present, but in a very subdued manner which instead emphasizes malt character with the coffee first. It is a stout that is slightly sweeter than expected, but certainly a nice stout which certainly can accompany an exciting dessert.

Bottle @ home, aged 4 years. Pitch black color and a fizzy tan head that quickly dissipates. Sweet & dry aroma with lots of cold spicy coffee, vinous dark fruits, oak, nuts, chili, some vanilla. Medium carbonated low to medium mouth feel, dry and a bit sweet, a bit thin. Lots of coffee in the flavor as well, along with nuts, dark fruits, pepper, oak, vanilla. Some light toffee notes balances nicely in the mid taste. Finish is dry and earthy with a coffee like bitterness.

Pours black with small tan head. Roasted aroma with coffee, chocolate and cacao beans. Pretty dry aroma and taste. Tastes of sweet chocolate and vanilla together with dry bitterness of coffee and burnt malt. Very smooth and pleasant to drink.

Bottle from Systembolaget, bought March 2012. Had one then and one now, very similar although it´s been sitting in the basement for a year. Pours dark brown/black, head is pale. The aroma is abundant with coffe and a touch of vanilla, hard roasted like. The mouthfeel is dissapointing, very thin, annoyingly intesive carbonation. Cold coffe comes to mind.

Bottle. Opaque black liquid with medium light tan head. Aroma of dried fruit, spicy coffee, green bell pepper, toffee, caramel, chocolate, bread and light vanilla. Taste is light sweet and light bitter with notes of coffee, vanilla, toffee and bell pepper. Light to medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. OK, but a bit thin and weird coffee notes (bell pepper).

It poured a dark black color with a brown head. The aroma was rich of coffee, roasted malts and cocoa. It had a full body, rich and creamy with nice carbonation. The taste was lots of burnt malt and coffee that finished strong with cocoa. Very nice.
