Never been crazy about Pumphouse brews and this one is no different. Subpar IPA. God some hop presense, but very weak with some nast thrown in for good measure. Kind of hoppy aroma with some caramel and some light spice, i guess. Aroma is sharp, carmelled flowery hops. Flavor is sharp hops to the contrast of malt backing. Pretty decent IPA but nothing all that special. jcwattsrugger (5989), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Texture was very creamy / stout-like / low carbonation level (which I didn't really like to see -- or feel -- in an IPA). Great hop profile, though: flowery, grassy and bitter (rose petals). Wondered how much the nitro might've dumbed down the hop aromas. Mildly sweet malts were representing nicely. Balanced things out well. Enjoyable beer, but would've preferred it sans-nitrogen.
