COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A blend of a rustic oak aged cider with Maryland strawberries and rhubarb. We fermented a strawberry wine and infused rhubarb into the wine providing notes of grapefruit rind and tropical fruit aromas. The cider weaves in a rusticity with a nice balance of fresh strawberry flavor.

Sampler at source. Dimmest and hazesst of my 3 samples. Can’t see through it. Aroma has a sweet strawberry thickness akin to mead actually but envolped in the house tartness, wildness, and farmhouse character. Flavor is very tart, very with a thicker mouthfeel for their ciders. Lots more of tingling and sparkling carbonation. Sweet strawberries as well. What a fun wild treat if not a bit too acidic.

Hazy orange pink. Aroma strawberries, rhubarb, slight vinegar, cheesy funk yeast. Tastes rhubarb, yeasty, apples. yeast flavor is a bit too strong, but it does help balance the acidity here.

Draft pour at the Schilling Cider House. Rating from notes. Pours a pale golden color with no head. Big berry aroma. Some cabbage too? Weird, but not bad. Strawberry and rhubarb are there, but less dominant than I hoped/expected. Interesting.

Bottle - Tart rhubarb and peppery funky notes. Cloudy yellow orange. Tart funky and a touch of acidity. Not bad, but not as good as their others.

One of my favorite cider makers. Drinks more like a sour. The combination of strawberry and rhubarb showcase perfectly together in this tart and dry cider.

Just like the rest of their ciders, this one is outstanding. Sour cider with strawberry and rhubarb. A classic pairing in a very unique cider. This is one of my favorite releases from these guys. World Class cider makers!

On tap at cider summit Seattle. So funky and tart but balanced with smooth fruit flavor. Dry without being off-putting. The strawberry is one of the best examples in any sour I’ve had! Just great!
