UPDATED: MAY 11, 2023 Draught at Monk's: pours pale gold with white head. Aroma is grass and hints of lemon. Nice and bitter. Fairly crisp. Full flavored.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2022 It pours straw with a white head. Head retention is very good. It has some toast aromas with quite a lively spicy touch. The flavors are toasty and lively with the same spicy spark. There is a bit of floral in the background as well. It has a crisp finish with a medium body. Overall, an easy drinking beer that does quite well.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2022 500ml bottle. Pours a mildly cloudy yellow. aroma is kinda toasty grainy and brewpubby. Flavor is brewpubby pils some spicy hops and minerals, high level of bitterness for a pils but not a decent pils, too americanny.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2022 1 pint can from Whole Foods. Pours a hazy yellow with quite an amount of head; aroma of noble hops, corn; clean, bitter almost punchy taste with a lingering bitter finish. Should be OK though I don't like American pils as much

A little disappointing given the reputation. Just very light and while that's refreshing it doesn't pack much taste apart from cream and a little corn ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2022 bottle. hazy yellow pour with a big foamy whiye head that has decent retention. The aroma is soft and understated with hay, straw, thyme. Taste is grains, mild peppery spice, and crackers. Palate is crisp and clean. Finishes short, dry and clean. Overall. Decent pils--will buy arain.

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2022 Flaske. Tilfældigt i en Whole Foods her anden morgen i LA, sindssygt heldigt. Her har du en suveræn pilsner. Gul let hazy. Duft af korn. Smagen er frisk, igen let korn med en del humle. Suveræn øl.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2022 Bottles in Santa Barbara. Damn solid pils from RR. On the hoppy side — definitely a US bent — but delightful.

UPDATED: JUN 11, 2022 Found in the back of the fridge, unfortunately. Well past 'drink fresh' but shockingly good. Very clean yeast with clean malt and clean bitterness. Redundant 'clean' intentional. Bright, flavorful, elements come through nicely. Will include score since I can only imagine it is slightly better fresh.
