Brown bodied with medium ocher head going down quite slowly. Very weak, slightly malted aroma. Flavor has some character though, but some ugly coffee firstly, with little of caramel coming in later saving the thing. Was not sweet at all, more like tasteless. Finish was very short and after all empty. My notes said about the middle between previous two connoisseurs.

Malt aroma, slightly roasted, but not overly burnt. Smells a tad sweet. Dry, roasted, malt flavor. Not sweet. Not much hops, but strikes a pretty decent balance, better than the average sweet dunkel. Roasted malt finish, relatively dry. A nice enough dunkel. swooper (515), Kladno, Czech Republic

Poured brown in color with a creamy off-white head that settled with time and left light lacing. Kind of thought they poured me a coke at first by the looks. Roasted malt and nut aroma. The flavor followed much the same with roast, nut, coffee, and light caramel. Light body and somewhat watery. Light sweetness with a nutty aftertaste. Malty, light sweet aroma, milk coffee notes. Dark brown color, frothy head. Taste is malty, milk coffe notes, medium strong roasted malt aroma. Tart bitter aftertaste. Usually I hate this Austrian “Dunkle”, but this on wasn’t sweet like ozujsko said. All in all a nice “milk coffee” beer.
