COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewing with fresh hops is a big endeavor, requiring four to five times the hop volume compared to using pelletized hops. Although the process is complex, it brings impressive results: Fresh Hop is an American-style pale ale with moderate hop bitterness marked by a unique and intensely grassy hop flavor and aroma. Fresh Hop is a superbly refreshing, medium bodied, light-copper colored pale ale weighing in at 55 IBUs and 6.1% ABV.

Pours a deep copper color with white head. Aroma is a little bit grassy and hops and a little malt. Taste is a little bit hoppy but really just kind of the standard pale ale. I expected more. It's good but nothing spectacular. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Refrigerated brown bomber, best before December 31, 2014, poured into a snifter. Clear light amber with small white head. Aroma is fresh grass hops, medium body, low carbonation, and little small-bubble lacing. Taste is grapefruit hops, grassy hops, and caramel malt backbone. Solid american pale ale.

Pours an amber-copper, with medium head (nice lacing). Aromas of malt, grass, citrus. Flavor is very bitter, with nice backbone of sweetness. Some grassiness, a touch of citrus. Pretty good overall.

22 oz bottle poured into pint glass. Pours a beautiful light gold with a one finger head that steadily dissapates. The taste was quite impressive. Very, very fresh hop taste with little bitterness. Impressed, would get again and recommend.

Just didn't hit the right notes with me, or fell short of expected. Not that it wasn't good, it just wasn't above many others in the same type of fresh IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours clear gold with a medium white head. Aroma has light grassy Spice and a bit of fruitiness. Flavor follows suit...delicate, balanced and clean...earthy and tea like bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and silky with a dry yet hoppy/fruity finish. Clean and refreshing beer.

Very fresh bottle pours a clean clear gold with white fizz. Very nice earthy malty hop aroma. The flavor is a little malty with a nice citrus and a drying floral lightly piney hop. Overall decent, a nice clean pale ale with a slightly bold American hop profile, nicely done but seems slightly thin at times for 6.3%.

Draft - Fresh grapefruit and peel. Clear gold with a nice rich white head. Lots of grapefruit pee and a nice sweetness. Not bad.

Tap somewhere in NYC... Poured a deep golden orange with a frothy white head. Fresh hops on the nose - pine and grass mainly coming through. Taste is much the same, Solid IPA
