hawthorne00 (8453) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - APR 3, 2022UPDATED: APR 3, 2022 Can, can't find a date. Misty gold with a cm of white head. Aroma of boiled oranges, pine, light biscuit. Simple but adequate light bread and biscuit below quite mellow orange and pine. Moderate bitterness. Doesn't offer much sparkle for 8% but pleasant enough.
ads135 (8029) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JAN 19, 2022UPDATED: JAN 19, 2022 Hazy gold pour. Thick aroma of floral and some pine notes. Citrus and sweetness follows. Less thick and aggressive an experience as I was expecting. Can from Dave in 2021.
AlabastorJones (885) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 12, 2021UPDATED: DEC 12, 2021 Pours out yellow, big tall fluffy white head, sticky hop nose, you can definitely taste the alcohol in this one, bitter hop finish, not a whole lot going of for flavor, I’d say “standard double IPA flavors”, that is to say that the bright/floral/fruity hop flavors that I hope for aren’t really there and the hop presence that is in there is a bit muddied by the booze and syrupy residual sugars. The can design is however probably the best I’ve seen in a long time.
tnkw01 (3714) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 4, 2021UPDATED: MAR 12, 2023 Hazy gold in color with a three-finger head. Aroma is citrus fruit and pine resin. Taste is also citrus fruit and pine resin.
patrick767 (6451) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 13, 2021UPDATED: MAR 13, 2021 Hazy gold pour. Very fruity smell flavor with lots of citrus and malt. The flavor has some hops bitterness but it’s also sweeter than expected. Some resin. Juicy. Medium bodied. With the unfiltered appearance and sweetness I figured they were going for a hazy iipa, but I guess not? Maybe my can wasn’t fresh enough and the hops faded somewhat. Anyway, it’s quite good but would likely be better with more hops bitterness.

nuplastikk (9840) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 9, 2020UPDATED: JUL 9, 2020 12oz can. About 7 months from canning, but still holds up rather well, I'd have to imagine it is that much better fresh. Anyway.. Unfiltered murky tan-orange body. Glass lacing white head. At 8% hardly much of a Double IPA, so it pretty much drinks like a big IPA. Pine and citrus hop tones, a little old school feeling, but perhaps that is just the age. Pretty tasty beer overall. The aroma sort of has an unappealing lemon pine-sol kind of thing going on, but I will also attribute that to age.
Iphonephan (11404) - JACKSON HOLE, Wyoming, USA - JUN 28, 2020UPDATED: JUN 28, 2020 From a 12 oz can. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Aromas of pineapple and melon. Flavors are moderately bitter citrus and pine.
