3/15/08 - Mystery pack from D’s courtesy/shared with Naka. Pours black with amber hues, small fizzy, khaki head. Nose is sweet caramel, biscuit and chocolate, touch of roast. Surprisingly not bad. Nice caramel and chocolate flavor, a bit watery with dry, crisp finish. Not bad.

Very nice dark brown-reddish body. Thin lacing. Watery, very drinkable and smooth. Strong flavor of chocolate upfront, over a background of caramel, roasted notes, coffee and some hint of fruits. Excellent with a good ol’ steak!

Average but good black beer. Sweet and salty with a malty undertone. They all start to taste the same these black beers.

This dark brown ale poured with a thick beige head and a bacon aroma. The flavor is roasted malt that is a bit smoky, with some toffe and raisin.
