UPDATED: APR 22, 2024 50cl bottle, a few months old that friends gave me, pours a clear, garnet amber with some creamy white head.  Nose has treacle, booze, honey, malt.  Very malty.  Lots of grain.  Feels a bit like an under nuanced test beer for the vintage ales.  Flavor is chewy malts, some bubblegum, some treacle, sticky toffee pudding.  Boozy finish, full bodied.  6 4 6 3 12

UPDATED: JAN 25, 2024 Аромат солодовый прежде всего, немного груши со специями, пшеницы и карамели, сладость умеренная. Цвет темнее чем обычно у золото эля, пенка средняя. Вкус в целом такой же, умеренно сладкий, снова груши, уже больше карамели, намеки на специи. При глотке алкогольный шлейф, совсем немного хмеля. В целом думал будет хуже, но вряд ли возьму еще.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2022 (bottle 0,5l from pivoteka.cz online shop) Overall: Nice sweet strong ale. Aroma: Sweet, dried fruits, prune, Appearance: Clear dark amber-red. Minimal off-white head. Taste: Medium sweet, fruity, prune, malty, medium bitter. Palate: Medium-full body. Sticky texture. Bitter, warm finish.

UPDATED: AUG 19, 2022 Bottle - clear, darkish copper with good sized off white head. Very malty aroma- caramel sweetness. Good mouthfeel. Sweet tasting, caramel, malts - decent finish. Easy drinking for a 8.5% beer, though a bit too sweet.

UPDATED: APR 6, 2022 Malty, fruity, and boozy. Probably more suited for the festive season. Nice Ale.

UPDATED: MAR 26, 2022 Bottle. Pours amber golden brown. Flavor whisky slightly fusel, though clear and light. Taste solid malty, sparkly. Aaand there is the aftertaste, mirroring the flavor - right when I assumed flavor and taste were disconnected.

UPDATED: JAN 30, 2022 Borostyán test, bézs kiegyensúlyozott hab. Illata leginkább édes aszalt gyümölcsre emlékeztet némi alkohollal. Édes, mint az illatában az ízében is az aszalt gyümölcs dominál. Kevés szénsav. Testes, ízében az alkoholt rendesen eldugták, leginkább csak az illatában érezni. Habja nem tartja magát, sajnos, pedig kitöltésekor egészen szemrevaló.. Kiegyensúlyozott összetett ízkép, minden izgalom nélkül. Nem tudom kinek ez mire mire elég, én többet vártam, ennek ellenére tettszik. Kóstolva: 2022. 01. 30.
