Commercial Description:
Pours a spectacular crimson red with a creamy tan head. Brewed with four varieties of Belgian caramel malts imparting a sweet richness. Reds Rye is impressively balanced with its hop bitterness and floral bouquet achieved from the dry hop. In the finish, the generous amount of malted rye used accentuates a spicy crisp finish.

This one is a red type color with a Fluffy white head. Aroma is mostly grapefruit with a touch of rye. The rye contributes a ton of bitterness but there’s plenty of tasty pineapple and grapefruit hops in there to balance it out. I really enjoy this one and love having it around.

Just starting getting into "rye" beers. One of my favorites so far. Balanced malts with spicy tones makes for a good mouth feel. Somewhat to crisp for me, otherwise when this beer warms slightly the full flavor is awesome. Highly reccomended.

Reddish brown pour with a nice medium sized head that lasts. Aroma is rye bread, hoppy, caramel, with a nice dryness to it. Taste is medium bodied rye again, rather bitter, a light chocolate note, lightly sweet, and a bit of nutmeg. Palate is mild and bitter/sweet. Good beer from Founders in GR (Grand Rapids). Would be nice with a hearty meal.

Pours a slightly hazy golden red color. Little to no head. Sweet malt aroma mixes with a crisp bitter note. Floral hoppy nose becomes sweet malt flavors, finishing with a sharp rye crispness accentuated by some citrusy hop bitterness. Very refreshing for such a high alcohol content.

Sampled at Peoria Int’l Beer Festival. Dark orange in color, clear, with a small light-brown head. Orange citrus aroma. Moderately bitter flavor, extremely IPA-ish, until the rye and wheat notes pop at the tail end of the flavor. Finishes bitter and slightly grainy.

Roasted "red" malt aroma backed with a deal of hop. Mahogany color with a vigorous white head. Medium body with creamy carbonation. The flavor is smooth roasted malt with resin and citrus hop. Rye flavor comes out with time, and the balance of malt and hop is pretty good. The finish is lightly sweet and strongly hopped. Very good drink.

Pours a slightly hazed amber topped by a smallish beige head, no lacing. Aroma is smack you in the face pine, pineapple, caramel and light rye. Flavor is moderately sweet but has a nice bitterness to counteract. Mostly pineapple, grapefruit, caramel, some rye and light lemon. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium carbonation.
