2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 DylansDad (202) - NEW ZEALAND - JUN 16, 2013
The Triumph TC 2500 of beers. Kind of a little bit special in that it ain’t exactly an Austin Princess, but, in so saying, it ain’t exactly an SS Holden, either. Brewed for people who find the aroma and taste of hops offensive, and who probably boil the living death out of their meat and two veg, yet add a dash of oyster sauce at the end, just to lift things a little. Brewed for folk whose living rooms are centered around the telly, and whose wallpaper is peeling, and who owns video copies of all the Carry On movies.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 kidmartinek (2555) - austin, Texas, USA - JUN 15, 2013
Light, filtered golden colour with amber tint. Frothy off-white head settles thin but lasts. Malty aroma with light citrus notes. Tastes like an India pale lager. Its just all around light but has the characteristic floral and citrus notes of an IPA though weak. The flavor is well balanced with the citrusy bitterness dominating slightly. For such low abv, its good. I’m just used to the American made IPAs styles which are always over the top. Far as I should know this is truer IPAs of yore.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 oppear (30) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 13, 2013
Smells of hops and caramel, is a good beer, taste has good complexity and enjoyable. Was not expecting a lot but this is better compared to most mass export ales. Less smell and taste then their ESB.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Kosmokrator (302) - ITALY - JUN 12, 2013
Limpido color oro tendente all’arancio con un cappello di fragile schiuma bianca. Aroma mediamente intenso, fruttato con sentori specifici di maracuja, mango e mela; gusto mediamente amaro, discretamente luppolato e per nulla invasivo. Corpo medio-lieve, effervescenza gentile, struttura acquosa, finale amaro mediamente persistente. Discreta IPA, molto "classica" ma altrettanto banalotta.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 TarcisioVasco (131) - Ribeirão Preto (SP)., BRAZIL - JUN 11, 2013
Cerveja bem inglesa, IPA leve e sem amargor intenso, com ótimo drinkability, consegue equilibrar maltes e lúpulos sem predomínio de um sobre o outro no sabor final, pecando um pouco apenas no corpo.
