Dark brown ale with a thin moka head. Light chocolate aroma, with notes of Reese’s Pieces. But in mouth, just a plain porter, with light malt, and watery body. At EBF 2006.

EBF ’06: Heavy on the porter, light on the peanut butter, I was expecting much more from this beer.

On tap at Brewer....brought a growler home too. Pours out a deep black color with a thin head. Aroma is malty with a touch of chocolate. Taste is unique, needs a bit more on the penutbutter taste, its there a little bit but it needs a bit more. I liked this brew though, stood out in my mind on my visit to Boston. Good times!

Had at Schlafly repeal prohibition festival. Poured dark brown with an off white head. Didn’t notice the peanut butter. Was hoping for something a little more unique.

on tap near the fleetcenter. Pretty light for a porter. Dark chocolate color with the slightest hint of peanut butter. Peanut butter didn’t come through in the taste, and i found it to be a bit "thin" for a porter. Went down very easy. All in all, not bad, but not what I expected.

EBF -05 Poured brown, nice light head. I picked up aromas of soap in this one, very odd stuff. I expected a nuttiness from the peanut butter, but it really didnt come through. Very thin. Was really looking forward to this one, but guess my expectations were too high.

Pours dark brown with a large head. Roasted flavor just like and other porter out there. I didn’t notice a whole lot of penut butter in this one either.
