Drank some of this in St. Maarten. The ingredients said water, barley malt, hops, and sugar, which for a minute made me wonder if this was an all malt lager. Didn’t taste like one. Not very good, but not nearly as offensive as Corona.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a short-lived white head. Sweet malty aroma with notes of caramel and corn. Flavour is identical to aroma. Light, watery mouthfeel with moderate carbonation and a short sweet finish. Not as bad as I feared but not that good either; still not too disappointed as I mainly got this to cross Trinidad & Tobago off my list of countries.

From bottle. Standard beany hops and pilsner malt of an island pale lager. Not too skunky, despite the clear bottle. Pale yellow clear with thin white head. Light watery body with medium carbonation. Starts with light malt sweetness, some rice/corn adjunct flavor, with mild hoppy bitterness. Beany. Standard pale lager, slightly refreshing but not that good.

Every once in a while, the resort in Jamaica offered this change from Red Stripe. It poured weakly of a pale yellow. Some light grains and malt in the nose. A bit of sweetness with malt and sweet corn standing out. It was a fairly clean lager with nice carbonation. I wouldn’t have minded getting drunk off of it.

12oz bottle. Pours apale yellow color with a medium white head. A mild smell of faint malts and grass. The taste was mostly of grains, had a slight hop bitterness, some notes of citrus, and a slightly metallic finish. Light body, quite a lot of carbonation.
