Terrible. Simply a bad taste. I've generally stopped rating beers, but I had to make an exception in this case.

Pours dark brown, settles quickly with moderate lacing. Caramel with light herbal hop undertones create a refreshing aroma. Taste is a smooth brown ale with a great hop balance. Complex flavors finishes really strong.

Reddish Brown color. Tan, average foam. Roasted notes in Aroma, more so than hops. For 50IBU’s the hops are countered by heavy roasted and even chocolate elements. These dominate over hops. Medium dry body. Slight alcohol taste upon warming. A hearty beer.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a dark red-black with a large, clingy, tan head that lasts. Taste is of coffee, roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and hops. Slightly sweet. Well balanced. Has a nice dryness and bitterness in the finish that lingers. Similar aroma. Good slick body. Very drinkable and quite enjoyable. Shows no hints of have 7.2% abv. Well worth picking up again.

12 oz bottle. Dark brown, creamy tan head. Aroma is roasty and nutty with some light citrus hops. The flavor is nutty, sweet malt with a little bit of hop bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation and a long smooth finish. Overall pretty good. Don’t get all the hops that they claim...maybe an old bottle, but nice.
