Bottle at The International Beer Bar, Zurich, Switzerland, Friday 24th June 2016. Pours hazy amber with a slim white sheen, there is flecks of yeasty sediment in suspension, not much just a little. Soft mouthfeel, sweetness and this drinks far easier than it should, fruity tang at end. Good, I am enjoying this. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Tap at CBF. Some sour aroma, but still honey. Very beautiful taste though, well rounded honey and a smooth palate.

BOTTLE 33 CL from Bov. Bottled DEC-2014. Sweet fruity and honeyish aroma, with hops and tart fruity notes, as well as some yeast. The taste is got some sweetness, but is harsher, dryer and with no honey whatsoever. The moderate bitterness feels a bit harsh too and the alcohol is showing through. Not bad, but not sure the honey did it well.

Cloudy amber color, small head. The aroma is a bit yeasty, and fruity. Highly carbonate, light residual sweetness, no honey, a bit metallic finish.
Honey is never a good idea for beer.12

Bov (14982) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - FEB 11, 2015
courtesy of Gabriel Hill - pours a cloudy dark amber-orange beer with a long lasting foam; nice lacework; solid aroma of tangerines and honey; light yeasty and herbal, some sweetness and a full-bodied; juicy and tasty and a pretty velvety palate; a gentle and late tartness; long herbal, honeyish and fruity finish; the components are perfectly separately disctinctable yet playing greatly together - a very pleasant beer with 2 layers

Imperial honey ale. Smell is a bit malty sweet and hoppy. Surprisingly not excessively sweet but refreshingly hoppy. A little hoppy bitterness with sweetness in the aftertaste that comes from both hops and honey. Matching carbonation. This beer seems perfectly planned and executed. Very convincing package.
