Golden hue with a small fizzy head. The aroma is a tad earthy and funky, leafy with a bit of unfermented sugars and butterscotch along with the expected apple overtone. The taste is apple juice and sugar, a tad woody, fleshy, and earthy as well. The mouth feel is sticky and soft. If not for the sugars this would be nice, hardly a "dry cider" if you ask me.

It had an aroma of aging apples stored in an old damp bushel basket. The flavor started off fairly sweet but developed a dry crispness near the finish. Tasty. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 17, 2010 Dry darker gold. Aromas are a touch of horseblanket, stink, crisp apples, lightly sweet with a touch of funkiness. Decent body, sweet and dry in nice harmony. Frank (1227), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 16, 2010 Clear apple juice color w/ a few bubbles of foam on top. Semi-sweet (even though it calls itself dry) and champagne-like. Slightly phenolic and funky. Good acidic balance /w some nice apple and floral notes. Definitely this was sweetened w/ a bit of apple juice but it still comes across as a reasonably good beverage. Quack-Duck (3529), Bodensee/Schwarzwald, Germany

Aroma is slight sulphorish and dry apple aroma. Sweet flavoured with a genuine sulphorish note and vague butterish touch (!?!). Authentic dry apple flavoured finish. kitschy (286), Nebraska, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 17, 2009 In bottle. Apricot color, quite clear. Smells like a pile of apples that has been in the sun for a few hours. The aroma made me expect to see bees buzzing around the bottle. Taste is crisp and refreshing. The palate was quite nice. I think the yeast gives it some extra depth, although I don’t know how to explain that statement. SledgeJr (3312), Omaha, Nebraska, USA

Pours urinary tract infection gold. has a large white head that, while diminished, maintains incredible ring atop the cider throughout. Very nice apple aroma. Slightly musty. Fantastic sweet flavor, very low acidity or tartness but a solid drying at the end, leaving the mouth parched. Very nice cider.
