Tastes like corn and lager yeastiness is present. Harsh and grainy at the finish. This should be much watery and thin, no? It is afterall, the light version. Yuck!

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Feb 27, 2009 Pale yellow pour with a minimal white head. Hardly any aroma and hardly any flavor. Super light. A little easier to drink than some other similar pale lagers. heemer77 (4331), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Jan 11, 2008 Can. Sickly pale straw colored with a bright white head. Raw potatoes and grass are up front in the nose. The taste has some light potatoes with some bell peppers. Light, unoffensive flavor. Nothing bad here, it’s close to water. | 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 8, 2007 Not offensive, but that doesn’t mean I’d willingly drink it again. It’s fizzy and pale yellow and the head vanishes immediately. Aroma? Almost none, except for a very faint whiff of malt. Very watery and nearly tasteless - malt, corn, and a light metallic finish. Not a drain pour. More like drinking lightly carbonated water.

Looks lie pee, Taste isn’t bad, it just isn’t there. Like bubbly water w/a little beer thrown in. And then it gets thinner at the end. locarboy (116), USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | May 7, 2006 The 12 pack of cans screams "a craft-brewed light beer WOW!" I am wondering if the ’ft’ combination used to create the /p/ sound in old english. This beer also claims to be a premium. Another instance of words in the english language evolving to mean almost the opposite of the original. Thankfully I paid $0 for this beer (my brother bought it for $3.99). Poured it straight into the glass and got a big, billowy white head that disappeared quickly. Not much malt flavor, nor hop flavor. A sour corn flavor predominates with a musty finish. I think this will be a very useful beer for boiling sausages and killing slugs (if they will drink it). Even if your tempted by the price and the craft-brewed moniker, DON’T DO IT! Stick to the Huber Bock. Tmoney99 (4973), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured a straw color with a small white head that was gone in a moment. Small grainy aroma. Light body with a thin texture. Little flavor or finish. Moist air light brew. Kevin (1924), Colorado, USA

Consequently, my good buddy Lucas Finco used to think that this beer is the greatest beer on earth. He would buy a case for about 6 dollars.
