Commercial Description:
A testament to Cascade hops in a bottle. This medium-bodied pale ale has a distinctive floral hop aroma and refreshing citrus flavor. You’ll notice a slight malty sweetness with a balanced hop finish. Perfect to enjoy anytime, anywhere.

I’m a fan of Founder’s beers (Red’s Rye & Black Rye are two of my favorites), but this one was pretty average. Lightly hoppy and very drinkable; it would be great lawnmower beer, which is a bit unusual for a pale ale, but was perhaps too refreshing for me to think of it as being really remarkable. Still, not bad. Appearance was very pale, with a tan body and a fairly minimal head. Aroma was lightly hoppy and appealing, but with a fair amount of apple (ethyl hexanoate?) aroma. Flavor & mouthfeel were pleasant but very light and refreshing. Good, but not overly exciting. Mouthfeel was on the light side, but by no means watery. I’d recommend this beer as a nice session beer or for something nice and refreshing to have on a hot day, but it is by no means an "extreme" pale ale/IPA/DIPA, particularly for a beer advertised as "dry-hopped." I bought this bottle as a 12 oz single from Woodman’s in Oak creek.

Pretty tastey brew all around. pours a vibrant copper colour with a small white floral head. Hop goodness around the palate, fruity and sweet/bitter battle all the way through. Finishes very clean

bottle on 3/7/09... straw yellow pour with a white head... malt forward nose with some grassy hop notes... light to medium body with slight hops... more bitter than some pale ales but the hops feel pretty low in alphas... just feels off to me... lacks some body and depth... a very light pale ale. ok.

Nice citrus aroma, mild amber pour with a white-ish head. Smooth herbal flavor with a dry hoppy finish.

I’m not going to lie...I was a bit disappointed with this weak Pale Ale from a brewery known for kicking me in the ass with their high gravity / abundantly hopped beers. Pours golden with a thin head, aroma is faint of hops and you can’t really taste the hops. I know this is a Pale Ale as opposed to an IPA so the hop content will go down, but I just thought it was weaker than it could’ve been. I’ll stick to what I like from this great brewery.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a big white head. Aroma is of light sweet malt, some citrus hops. Taste is sweet but the hops are all pretty light. The hops are citrusy and not all that present. Some other unexpected grain notes are also noticable. Not sure of the age of the bottle but, this one may have been on the shelf too long. Body is medium and the finish is light. Overall an okay brew.

Bottle. Pours a murky yellow-amber with a crazy big fluffy white head that lingers too long. Sweet aroma, with lemon peel, malt, yeast, and citrus hops. Taste is crisp, of citrus hops, preserved lemons, yeast, and malt. Lingering crisp bitterness that ends watery. Tasty, but I think it’s sat around a bit too long.
