Some nice bitterness finishes the bit of sweetness. Seemed a little murky to me but overall it was pretty good. NobleSquirrel (1178), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 2, 2008 Figured I’d start off with a Bells I haven’t had before, now that they’re back! Bottle from West Lakeview. Pale goldish color, fizzy head. Nose is a distinct neutral hop character, bitter smelling with a touch of skunk. Taste is nice and light, very refreshing with a clean bitterness and a bigger malt backbone than expected. Actually, quite nice. nbutler11 (858), Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Light aromas of hops and sweet malt and a touch of honey. Very well balanced flavor with a nice bitter finish. It’s certainly not Bell’s best beer but it’s still pretty good. mhelgason (495), Charlotte, North Carolina, USA

Somehow the clowns at Total Wine charged me $2.99 for a single bottle of this beer. What were they thinking? I’m sure that this beer isn’t worth $3 a bottle, but me being the dumbass that I am, was going to get it because it was the only one in the store. Okay beer, but nothing special. zappafan99 (463), Ascension Island
