Commercial Description:
A beautiful golden-hued brew in the pale ale style. The lightest of our beers, it includes a nice hop flavor and all pale malts.

celebrated Bell’s return to Chicago with this bottle from WLV. Some nice bitterness finishes the bit of sweetness. Seemed a little murky to me but overall it was pretty good.

Figured I’d start off with a Bells I haven’t had before, now that they’re back! Bottle from West Lakeview. Pale goldish color, fizzy head. Nose is a distinct neutral hop character, bitter smelling with a touch of skunk. Taste is nice and light, very refreshing with a clean bitterness and a bigger malt backbone than expected. Actually, quite nice.

Pours a honey color from the tap. Mild bitterness from its hops, but fairly weak in overall flavor.

Pours a nice cloudy dark apricot color with a white head. Light aromas of hops and sweet malt and a touch of honey. Very well balanced flavor with a nice bitter finish. It’s certainly not Bell’s best beer but it’s still pretty good.

bottle. below average white fizzy head into a hazy orange body with particles a floatin. head did not last long. aromas of light to moderate hops and some light malts. flavor is initially moderately bittersweet but finishes bitter. Okay summer brew...actually just what I was looking for this evening.

12 oz. single bottle from Total Wine in Huntersville, NC. Somehow the clowns at Total Wine charged me $2.99 for a single bottle of this beer. What were they thinking? I’m sure that this beer isn’t worth $3 a bottle, but me being the dumbass that I am, was going to get it because it was the only one in the store. Okay beer, but nothing special.

Bottle, small white head with sparce lacing. Hazy body with small particulates. Light yellow/amber color. Heavy hoppiness with spurce undertones. Mediumed bodied with an average duration. Not my favorite Bell’s beer.
