The standard by which I measure wheat beer. Served with an oragne wedge at Mad Mex. Very drinkable, and it seems to get better as the weather gets warmer.

Mar 14, 2010 Hazy gold color pour with a frothy head. A refreshing brew with wheat, yeast, citrus and spices coming through. Very good stuff.

Mar 6, 2010 Hardly any aroma, but the carbonation looks nice and the color is nice and golden. Slightly flowery taste, refreshing. nice, I’d have it in a bar again, this was a gift from a friend who brought it from Wisconsin.

Oberon isn’t a big tasting ale, but it does its job exceedingly well.

Mar 1, 2010 a little disappointing for my first taste of a bells beer, was hoping for a two hearted ale, but this was on tap at the house of beer, so what the hell. very middle of the road wheat ale, the fact that its filtered isnt helping matters, flavors are way too weak, a little banana, thats about it. everything else is fine, color is good, palate is fine, just not one that i would come back to.

Feb 25, 2010 This is an interesting ale. The aroma and flavor are full of fruit and citrus, perhaps some bannana. There is also a good amount of yeast and some sweet malt and bread. The combination is sweet overall, and pleasant. The finish is smooth, sweet and full. The alcohol could be a bit higher for more of a kick, but overall the balance is nice.

Feb 23, 2010 Hazy golden color with a white head. Nose is wheat, spicy, little bit of citrus. Nice citrus flavors, and wheat with slight hops in the back. Nice and easy drinking and not too heavy like some wheat beers. Get a nice cream finish as well.

Feb 1, 2010 Pours gold into the glass with a white head. Aroma is bready and otherwise sort of nondescript. Flavor is simple grain with a bit of bitterness on the back end. Meh.
