UPDATED: DEC 25, 2022 Das White Angel IPA von Steam Works kommt mit daumendicker, gemischtporiger Schaumkrone und trüber goldgelber Farbe aus der Flasche. Es duftet fruchtig nach Litschi, Orange und Ananas. Insgesamt ein toller Früchtekorb. Der Antrunk hat einen neutralen Malzkörper mit fast unauffälliger Hefe. Beim Abgang kommt dann die Hopfenbitterkeit des Aromahopfens mit Grapefruit, Orange und Koriander. Sehr gute Kohlensäure, süffig und leicht. Ein Summer IPA. 05-2019

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2022 Bottled. Hazy yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is herbal, zesty, floral and mild wooden tones. Flavour is floral, fruity, wooden earthy and some toffeeish and biscuity tones. Herbal and wooden bitterness to it.

Aroma is of orange, spicy coriander, earthy and floral hops, citrusy grapefruit and pine ….. taste has a nice fruity belgian yeast, orange, spicy coriander, grapefruit, pine and rindy …. The IBU’s definitely come in on the backend and into the finish …. Dry, earthy, spicy bite floral hops …. Finish has dry, bitter hops, fruity yeast, orange and coriander ….. medium bodied …. Tasty brew and definitely hits the Belgian Pale Ale or White IPA style

UPDATED: SEP 12, 2020 White ipa de 6,9 % abv et 60 ebu, avec écorces d'orange et coriandre. Malts pils et de blé, plus du blé non malté. Houblonnage en cascade, centennial et galaxy. Mon exemplaire était sans date visible, assez ancien. Couleur orangé abricoté, avec matières en suspension. Bulles moyennes, en fontaine centrale vive. Mousse blanche, soyeuse, stable à 2 mm. Arômes d'ananas, orange, zeste d'orange, pointe de fraise. 1ère bouche souple, à l'entame entre fruit et fleurs de houblon. Arrière-bouche longue, agréable, fruitée, mais sans profondeur. 2ème bouche avec fruits, et une résine de pin qui dépasse le fruité. Arrière-bouche qui garde la touche résineuse, et devient astringente. Longueur qui ne peut rétablir l'équilibre qu'en de rares moments. L'ensemble est sans complexité, à l'amertume devenue herbacée. Jambes fuyantes. Levure basique. Alcool faible, et donc contrairement à ce que dit le brasseur, il ne s'agit aucunement d'une 'strong' beer .. (d'ailleurs qui ose l'affirmer à 6,9 ??) Finale faible. CONCLUSION : l'ange blanc a brûlé ses belles ailes dorées, à cause de la vapeur de la ' steambrewery ' .. et il s'est donc planté au sol !! UPDATED: SEP 24, 2019 Unpraktische 0,33 l Flasche, brutale 6,9 % Alk. Enthält auch Weizenmalz, was eher ungewöhnlich für ein IPA ist. Geruch Maracuja. Auch geschmacklich kommt das durch. Außerdem Zitrusfrüchte (Grapefruit und Zitronenschale). Frisch, fruchtig, sehr süffig. Nicht zu bitter. Den hohen Alkohol merkt man zu keinem Zeitpunkt – gefährlich.

UPDATED: MAY 18, 2019 Trübes gelb schöner schaum, hopfig im Geruch das zu die orangenschale und der Koriander, genauso im Geschmack, leider etwas flach, aber ein IPA im Wit Mantel kann funktionieren

UPDATED: MAY 12, 2019 Bottle 0,33L. Hazy, light golden color with small, white head. Juicy look. Aroma of orange, lemon, tangerine, apple, touch of malt. Taste is moderate to heavy bitter and very hoppy with long lasting bitter aftertaste with spicy and herbal notes. Medium to full body, dry texture, soft carbonation. Very good!
