Looks bland somehow. I know that sounds extremely presumptious and uneducated but it really does look bland - light brown with minimal head, yielding no signs of excitement. The aroma is no different, overly smooth boring malt, perhaps a tad smokey. Flavor is a touch bitter, some smoke here too, a little cane sugar. Poor malt profile (although fairly present). Boring, just flat out boring.

Feb 10, 2010 Sample at the brewpub. Pours clear amber with a thin and creamy white head that evaporates quickly. Slippery sheet of lacing. Aroma of sweet malt and fruit. Light and clean body with flavors of sweet caramel, malt and fruit. Weak hops in the background. The finish is sweet with a short malt aftertaste. Slightly below average overall.

Sep 13, 2009 Draught at the Bridgeport Brewery.
Decent caramel backing, with cherry. Well-balanced bitterness. Hop level relatively low. Not really exciting but the balance makes it very drinkable.

Apr 8, 2009 a decent amber. tastes a little dryer, not as quenching properties as other ambers ive had. its a little bit thicker.
