I know that sounds extremely presumptious and uneducated but it really does look bland - light brown with minimal head, yielding no signs of excitement. The aroma is no different, overly smooth boring malt, perhaps a tad smokey. Flavor is a touch bitter, some smoke here too, a little cane sugar. Poor malt profile (although fairly present). Boring, just flat out boring.

Decent caramel backing, with cherry. Well-balanced bitterness. Hop level relatively low. Not really exciting but the balance makes it very drinkable.
