Clear, golden color. Average frothy head. Aroma is lightly malty. Medium sweet. Alcoholic finish.

Can looks very simple. Beer in the glass deep golden, nice head. Starts not as strong as exspected, malty.spicy, strong. Finish more and more dry-moldy, warming, no too alcoholic. Okay.

Bottled, 500ml from the East European Supermarket, High St. Banbury. Gold with fizzed white head. I’d noticed that this seemed to be particularly popular with the Polish Park Life morning club from the empties being deposited around the benches. There is a heady fruity alcohol note from the start, nothing subtle about this. Raw and challenging. A step away from Wodka presumably.

meerbier (1473) - Pijnacker, NETHERLANDS - NOV 25, 2012
Bottle@Home. Pear aroma. Pale yellow, white head, good lace. Light sweet, pears, metallic bitter, that’s it. Boring but drinkable.
