Pale beer with a dryly hopped flavour and dry/fruity aroma. Overall a good dry beer.

Bottled. Slightly musty peach aroma, clear gold body with soft carbonation, slightly sweet peachy flavour reminds me slightly of one of the Badger beers albeit without the latter’s depth.

Nice amount of foam with citrus and peach notes. Citrus and malty taste, well balanced. A good but not a great beer. Could have done with being bottle conditioned.

Not bad, but mostly on the dry/hoppy side (like rusty water). Also has some spicy/grassy notes.

Bottle from Stirchley C-op. A celebration ale, brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Roger Bannister running a mile in under 4 minutes. Luminous yellow, with a loose white head. Grapefruit and lemon aroma. Gentle but balanced and tasty Blond ale. Hops to start and in the middle, malty on the finish. Very lemony, with a real bitter zesty quality. Just like Sir Roger in 1954, this is very zippy, but looks graceful.
