COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cosmik Debris is a vibrant, light in color, Double IPA with a relatively dry flavor and assertive hop aroma. Intense aromas of pineapple, melon, and lime zest, lead to a soft palate featuring a carefully struck balance between firm bitterness and malt. The beer is brewed using Simcoe, Amarillo, Citra and Columbus hops, which gives it its strong fruity smell and soft, balanced taste.

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2023 Can at the yacht club pool on Memorial Day. Must have pretty tasty because it disappeared quickly on a gorgeous day. West coast style IpA with medium bitterness and a light hint of booze.

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2022 2000th rating! Enjoyed at Poke Jon’s in Blue Ridge, GA after a weird work day and prior to a wedding. Very enjoyable. Nose is more grassy, flavor hits like a high ABV brew with noticeable bitterness. Picked a good one for number 2k!

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2022 Can pour from Hop City - Krog Street Market. It's a lightly hazy golden yellow with fine mist of floaties, nice sparkle, 3-finger white foamy head with excellent retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is strong lemony citrus, pineapple. Taste is lemony citrus over crackers and later, lighter pineapple. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with soft, frothy texture, average carbonation, alcohol warmth, and dry finish as taste with lingering bitterness. Overall, decent strength of aroma and flavor though not super complex.

UPDATED: MAY 24, 2019 Found on tap. Clear light yellow with thin foam. More leaning to the juicy side than I expected. Not very hoppy especially for the style.

UPDATED: MAY 16, 2019 12 ounce can - $2.98 at Sherlock's in Marietta (Kennesaw), Georgia. ON: 04/05/19. Appearance: Pours a fairly clear, standard light yellow body with an inch of near white suds. Scant lacing. Smell: A little watermelon, pink guava. A little pineapple, pine. Some underlying dank, floral, and citrus elements gently wrapped with a thin veneer of hooch. Taste: A soft, lightly bready, crackery base, seemingly some crisp pils involved. Its medium sweetness catapults into candied watermelon, guava juice, a tropical pineapple-white wine spritzer, but, also more fundamental touches of jutting citrus, dank herb, affably resinous pine and firm meadow flower florals. Medium-plus bitterness. Warming, heated, piquant notes of alcohol flush in from time to time, but, are rather well integrated into the flavor. Spicy, bitterish with lingering, durable resiny waves. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-plus carbonation. It's warming, yes, but it's kept about as loose and mobile as possible. Overall: Had to listen to some boo-hoo boob cry and weep about the hype and rarity literally sucked out of this beer due to its wider release, rendering it a commonplace, pedestrian beer. FFS, son. It's a quality, comparatively easy-drinking DIPA that's hit the local market fresh and fast.

rajendra82 (1197) - Alpharetta, Georgia, USA - MAY 5, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 5, 2019 Pale yellow color was much lighter than most other beers in the style. The head was just one finger thick at its peak before settling into a thin ring of bubbles. The smell was tropical, bringing to mind mango, pineapple, guava, and passion fruit. The taste was exactly like the smell, just turned up a couple of notches. The tropical fruit tastes were very soothing, while the bitterness was low. There wasn't even a hint of booziness, which is amazing for a 9 percent ABV beer. The body felt soft and silky slick. This DIPA was damn easy to drink.
