Wow this is fantastic, OEC has really mastered aging light beers. This light gose isnt washed out with the barrel aging but blended and complemented wonderfully. Tons of nuances, and none of that harsh tequila. High tart (still soft) and good high saltiness.

(750ml bottle) cloudy medium gold, soapy white bubbles. Nose of salt, lemon, herbs, complex yeast profile. Taste is incredible, lemon, medium tartness, salty, laxto, simple, straightforward amazing sour.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a hazy orange with no head. The aroma is strong gin, wood, pepper. Thin mouth, vinous, gin, tart, light salt, spice, clean, really nice.

After a flight of three Avery sours I wanted to continue the trend so I ordered a small pour from this brewery who I still don’t quite have a handle on. This beer did little to help - an odd mix of traditional gose, margarita, and other flavors, it somehow manages to twist the style into a unique East Coast vision of a sessionable light sour.

Aroma / Appearance - The cloudy rose gold body shimmers as thin icy legs creep downwards. Salty crackers, canned oranges, and fresh clean scents waft into the air with ease to form the basis of an unassuming but effective presence.

Flavor / Palate - Salted peaches spooned from the can treat the senses to a dry introduction. Orange pulp and polished fruits then sweep to a refreshing finish that has hints of being aged in many different types of barrels. If not for the fact that I’ll probably never see it again I would grab this again in a few years for a special occasion.

On draft at Churchkey in DC. Pours a hazy gold with an off white head. Aroma of tropical fruits. Flavors of salt and pepper. Tart finish.

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2015 Bottle shared about. It pours cloudy gold with a small white head. The nose is fresh, funky, minerals, salty, sour lime, lemon and some lactic bite. The taste is crisp, rather tart, sour lime, old fashioned lemonade, sherbet, salty action and decent acidity with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Crisp, tart and refreshing. Perhaps a touch acidic, but still very nice.

Bottle. Head is initially small, fizzy/frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is hazy medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), with notes of sour apple, lemon/lime, oak, band-aid. Flavor is moderately sweet, heavily acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, heavily acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly to moderately astringent. A super sour rendition. Kinda generic but refreshing.

Bottle. Lightly hazed gold with a short white head and no retention. Aroma impression is bacteria, apple cider, malic acid, phosphorus / match sticks, pepper / spice, sea salt, oak (little in the way of wine, gin, or tequila barrel). Acidic, tart, and sour, with a moderate amount of sugar left to keep the sourness at bay. Kind of a generic gose / sour ale to me, not offering a lot of depth, and the aroma impression is odd, match sticks and apples and all that.

Sampled at the brewery, 9/19/15. Golden-orange. Cloudy, with a thin white head. Nice soccer/coriander forward aroma. Lemon and herbal notes. Salty and a little tart, but that spice herbal is more prominent. Clean and very drinkable.
