Gallopkringlen (28) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 10, 2023UPDATED: JUN 3, 2023 I normally don't like Royal beers much.
But this one is quite alright and slightly tasty. Clearly the best of the Royals
Malt, caramel/sweet, dry/rye.
It doesn't do much but it's not bad for a very cheap beer.
Served cold

Decent
maltimore (13) - - JAN 9, 2020UPDATED: JAN 9, 2020 Can, supermarket in Copenhagen.
Relatively clear, deep golden/amber color. Thick, off-white, lasting head with decent lacing. Nose is lightly roasted malt and fresh bread (something yeasty - rye, perhaps). Only a distant hint of hops.
Quite light on the taste: caramel malt, spreading on the tongue. Short finish that leaves much to be desired. Light carbonation.
It's dull and watery, much like its cousin Royal export.
