Crisp hop aroma, fairly light with lemon and honey. Quite a mellow IPA, only a little hop bite in the beginning. Mostly grapefruit and lemon with some herby taste in the finish. Frothy mouthfeel with a medium-high carbonation level and medium body. Quite a fresh, crisp IPA with just enough sweetness. lalu (20), Morin Heights, Quebec, Canada

Enourmously bitter flavour. Lots of sweet hop. Full mouthfeel. Huge bitter finish. DenisLD (30), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Feb 3, 2010 Wow! Starts with a powerful hop bite, with bursting citrus and tropical fruit notes (again, mango, orange, and passion fruit, with a hint of grapefruit), then the hop taste mellows down a little, leaving room for some fairly strong sweetness. The tropical fruit notes linger on, joined by a fairly strong bitterness in the aftertaste, with a little bit of pepper spiciness. It is true, there is much more hoppiness than there is maltness in this beer, but I would not quite call it "unbalanced". "Delicious" would be a more appropriate word!
Medium bodied, with moderate carbonation. Very crisp and just a little peppery. The bitterness is not over the top.
I could not taste the alcohol, even though I started feeling it a little after my second glass. I’m not fully accustomed (and totally unspoiled) to intense American IPA’s, but I love them when I do drink them! This beer drinks like a charm and the bitterness would not get in the way of it becoming my session beer. But alas, I can’t get it in my area... beer4bears (10), Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 3, 2010 Cloudy. Orange colour. Frothy off white head that looked like it was going to dissipate quickly but held a light foam to the end. Citrus hop aroma. Medium bitterness which finishes lighter than expected. Oily palate at the start with some alcohol on the finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Reasonable IPA. deyholla (871), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 2, 2010 From the bottle at the 2010 Indiana Winterfest. Poured a clear orange yellow with an off-white head. Aroma was a bit one hop with citrus notes throughout. That same pine note was in the flavor throughout. Very one note. talon1117 (647), Bellvue, Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 26, 2010 Pours a hazy, golden color with a white, creamy, foamy, full head which leaves a nice layer throughout and some tight, drippy lace; very reminiscent of a triple of BSGA. The nose is fair for an IPA with some spicy resins, lots of juicy oranges, faint cookie and biscuits, maybe some florals. The flavor is nice with lots similar orange notes, light resins, white pepper, rose petals, hints of sweet biscuits, and a moderately high bitterness. The palate is nice for the style with a more than medium body, a lively carbonation, and a sticky/velvety mouthfeel. The finish is fairly long, drying from the intense almost herbal-like bitterness, oranges lingering with orange peel and some cookie sweetness. An interesting IPA but not my favorite type of IPA; the dryness and juicy citrus notes seemed to compete for attention. The bitterness was nice, however, and just enough sweetness. Not my cup of tea but enjoyable and typical of Rogue. JoeMurphy (36), Ohio, USA
