5000 (7050) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JUN 28, 2018Bottle:   Orange side of amber, thin to moderate foamy off-white head, nice lacing.   Biscuity and rye nose, also a little beef stock for some reason.   Reminds me a little of Au Jus for my Roast Beef sammies.   Very faint tho.   Rye up front on the tongue, very light bitterness.   Has a touch of earthy and/or organic maltiness.   Could use some sweetness on this one.   Finishes with a bit of that Au Jus stock that I got on the nose.   As it warms a bit more citrus or pithy bitterness comes out.   Tiz OK, but that odd Au Jus aroma and flavor make me think I am drinking my lunch.
fiulijn (28318) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 19, 2016Draught at Hops ’n Headz, Bellingham, WA
Amber color, clean, with compact head. A Pale Ale with a zesty and spicy touch thanks to the rye and hops; smooth; solid, pretty good.
Ahuth (665) - Illinois, USA - FEB 20, 2016Bottled. Has a clear orange. Nice carbonation. Has a nice bold flavor. Citrus with a roasty sweetness. Good balance.
fidelis83 (3779) - Clinton, Iowa, USA - FEB 1, 2016Nearly clear amber pour with a one finger creamy of white head that has good retention. Aroma is spicy grain, sweet fruity esters, toast, a hint of chocolate, citrus and herbal hops. Flavor is spicy rye, sweet cereal, grass, toast, citrus peel and earthy hops. Light to medium body, neutral to oily entry, medium, sharp carbonation. Decent, maybe a bit plain.
gururyan (748) - Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA - JAN 7, 2016Good seasonal from Big Sky, strong in the rye but still quite chuggable and a good pale. Alcohol well hidden and plentiful, particularly for a pale.

slowrunner77 (19964) - Reno, Nevada, USA - NOV 30, 2015Rye spice and pine up front in the nose and flavor. Nice bready malt backbone. Slightly better than expected.
mbgrayson (907) - Anaconda, Montana, USA - NOV 14, 2015Pours a clear light gold, with a nice white head. Aroma of rye (and hops in the background). Taste of rye and hops blends nicely, a bit of a bite. This one is a bit different, and fairly unique. Thumbs up.
poisoneddwarf (5593) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - NOV 13, 201512 oz bottle, thanks brenn79. Aroma is fantastic, dank, with spicy rye, grapefruit, bread and pine notes. Pours clear copper with a medium beige head with good retention and creamy lace. Taste is highly bitter with just a little sweetness alongside; flavors match the aroma. This exceeded my expectations in a massive way. Really impressive.
