Commercial Description:
This big, rich IPA features Simcoe hops which give it both a fruity, piney hop nose and a clean, ringing bitterness. IN-between, the malt flavor is slightly caramel for a touch of malt sweetness. This IPA is well-balanced and very expressive with hops.

Bottled. Pours a fairly dark amber color. Syrupy hop aroma that is slightly sweet. Fairly citric. Fairly dry hoppiness throughout. Some grapefruit and malt. Bitter finish.

Nice citrusy hoppy aroma. Deep amber color with a frothy white head. Starts with malt, followed by a big hit of hops, and then malt again. Rather a malty IPA. It finishes with grapefruity bitterness. Really nice.

Tap @ Dog & Grog Virginia City. Clear golden. This IPA was quite dry with a decent hop bitterness and bite. Nice resinious, fresh hop flavor but a bit unbalanced towards the hops & bitterness, without enough malt. A bit thin on the body. It’s unique dryness, and bitterness gets it a 3.5 with me. After reading some of the other rates I wonder if this is the same IPA?

Bottle at outdoor lunch spot in Bozeman, MT. Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy and resin hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This is a good drinkable brew and went well with lunch.

12oz bottle. Poured a dark amber / copper color with an averaged sized off white head. Lots of lacing left on the glass. Aromas of juicy oranges, some grapefruit, a little floral and some caramel. Tastes of citrus, some pine, and caramel. Medium bitter finish.

On tap at the brewery. This copper ale poured with a thick off-white head and a strong floral aroma. There is a crisp pine and citrus flavor with a long bitter finish.

A little darker than the usual IPA with a great big stable head. Grapefruit and pine aroma with juicy malt. Big hop flavor maybe a little thin in body. Pine and citrus with a little bit of chlorophyll. Lingering bitterness in the finish.
