| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 7, 2006 Nice citrusy hoppy aroma. Deep amber color with a frothy white head. Starts with malt, followed by a big hit of hops, and then malt again. Rather a malty IPA. It finishes with grapefruity bitterness. Really nice. billk (300), Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 25, 2006 Tap @ Dog & Grog Virginia City. Clear golden. This IPA was quite dry with a decent hop bitterness and bite. Nice resinious, fresh hop flavor but a bit unbalanced towards the hops & bitterness, without enough malt. A bit thin on the body. It’s unique dryness, and bitterness gets it a 3.5 with me. After reading some of the other rates I wonder if this is the same IPA? Tmoney99 (4980), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured a clear amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate earthy and resin hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration.
This is a good drinkable brew and went well with lunch. hayduke (1765), Eureka, California, USA
