Bottle, carried back from Jackson Hole. Black of course. Thin, lacing head. Good aroma, with light coffee and roasted malt. Flavor has more roasted grain character, cold espresso. Very smooth palate on this beer.

On cask at the brewpub. Dark, sweet and smoky... would be perfect with BBQ and surely that’s intentional. Smoke is a bit on the obvious side, but that’s all right with me. Maybe a bit rich to drink much of.

Nice dark brown with a tan head. Aromas of rich malts with dark, bitter sweet chocolate and a hint of coffee. The flavor is of burnt coffee, bittersweet chocolate and a little cherry??
