UPDATED: MAY 23, 2021 Left quite disappointed that you couldn't taste the liquorice and could only just about taste the vanilla. Still a nice porter though

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2021 Bottle. Ours black with a decent tan head. Aroma is lots of roast, liquorice, coffee, chocolat. Lots of liquorice, some vanilla. Medium bitterness. Flavour is dark malts, rather light actually, but with strong roasty and liquorice notes. Some chocolate and coffee notes, vanilly in the back. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Quite a good porter, a bit too much liqurice for me personally.

UPDATED: NOV 22, 2020 330ml bottle. Black with big beige creamy head, nice retention. Aroma of liquorice, malts, coffee, some vanilla. Taste sweet with liquorice, roasted malts, dried fruits, dry almost smoky note, moderate bitterness. Its a good porter, enjoyable.

UPDATED: SEP 18, 2020 Fles. Aroma stout, koffie, gebrand. Zwaar in mond, dik bier (vettig). Diepdonker roodbruin, met bezuinig schuim. Zoetig, scherp, wrang. Goede poorter.

UPDATED: SEP 5, 2020 Kolor czarny, bez prześwitów. Piana brązowa, ma zwartą, drobno pęcherzykową budowę, jest trwała i wysoka. Aromat jest słodki, korzenny, mieszają się tu słody palone, nuty kawowe, lukrecja i inne przyprawy korzenne. Smak podobnie jak aromat słodki z wyraźną goryczką ziołową. Są oczywiście nuty palone, kawowe, jest trochę akcentów ziemistych i przyprawowych. Wysycenie średnio niskie, ciało średnio pełne. Tekstura bardzo gładka, miękka. Posmak długi, ziołowy.

UPDATED: AUG 30, 2020 Porter molto scura, schiuma marroncina densa e persistente. Aroma in cui si sente molte la liquirizia e il caffè. In bocca i malti scuri fanno sentire il loro carattere, però si sente fin troppo la liquirizia che tende a coprire tutto il resto. La vaniglia non emerge per niente, forse bilancia solo un minimo la liquirizia e l'amaro della birra. Finale amaro e abbastanza secco.

UPDATED: AUG 2, 2020 Bottle. Dark brown with dark bronze color, coffee foam. Aroma: licorice, caramel, burnt sugar, candies, vanilla, specific. Sweetish taste, caramel, bitter, liquorice, roasted.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2020 This is a dark beer. It has a milky and spicy taste, vanilla notes dominate.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2020 Liquide noir avec mousse compacte et courte. Nez café au lait sucré et vanille épicée. En bouche, c'est une attaque ultra courte vanillée puis on est envahi par une amertume âcre et tenace (liqueur de racines ?). C'est clairement pas très bien maîtrisée et la vanille aurait dû être plus présente !!!
