UPDATED: MAY 22, 2019 Tap. Pours opaque black, small tan head, good lacing. Aroma is really rich espresso mocha. Flavors is light plus sweet, medium bitter, strong fresh espresso, mocha, hint of cigarette butts. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. Excellent beer, but much like actual coffee the flavor doesn't quite live up to the promise of the aroma.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2018 I scored a growler of this recently. Maybe something was lost in translation. It has an espresso smell. A dark hue. The taste was of strong coffee, bitter in flavor. It reminded me of tasting the fudge mix before it goes into the oven. It is a good beer but I felt carbonation was missing. I will say the booze is semi stark as I could feel its warmth in my belly. I think next time I'll have it straight from the tap. Definitely not meant for Summer.

6/20/17 crowler from Brash. Black body with huge tan foam. Awesome espresso, fruity, dry chocolate, light earth aromas. Smooth mouthfeel. Sugared up herbal, earthy fruity espresso flavors with dark chocolate, and roasty maltage__very tasty.

Pleasant coffee and sweet milk chocolate notes comprise the aromas. Black body, a vigorous pour yielded a mid to dark tan 2" cap that’s receded and left some thick lace. The flavor has more coffee than the aroma, it has a nice bitterness, the milk chocolate takes a back seat here. Overall it’s a nice coffee stout, delivers where it promises.

Draft at On Tap. Pours almost black with great lasting head. Big coffee aroma. Great flavor of sweet malt, chocolate, and coffee. Medium body and long finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
