Commercial Description:
Our Inspirational Ale is copper colored, strong in alcohol content (approximately 7.0% ABV) with a bitter and powerful hop flavor and aroma. The bitterness is somewhat masked by a slight malt sweetness (it requires a lot of malt to make a strong beer). We call it an old-world IPA because many American versions of the style lack the strength, color and maltiness that we believe the original beers contained.

3.01.06 re-rate: Better overall. Tasted like a delicious fruit at times. Like a kiwi. A majestic kiwi Delicious. This was in the seasonal beer spot on the sampler. I’m usually not a huge fan of IPA’s but I liked this. Nice and easy to drink

on tap-pours a foamy white head with copper color. Aroma is citrus hops, floral. Taste is citrus hops with plenty of malt. Nicely balanced.

I don’t even really like IPA’s, but this one has such an awesome flavor that I’ve been taking growlers home from work with me. Perfect copper color, awesome malt flavor to balance the exact right amount of hop bitterness, with a ton of flavor and aroma, and no cascade-tasting "American IPA" crap. Wicked awesome beer.

Brewery. Slight floral aroma. Goldish yellow color with nice sized head and lacing all the way through. Very dry and nice and bitter. Lively mouthfeel. Taste of nice hop bitterness and tart citrus graperuit. Their best beer.

On tap at Brewpub. Golden clear in color with a nice white head. Hoppy aroma. Smooth. Easy to drink. Good beer. Flavor is mostly hops.

Tap at the BP. Nice golden clear color with a white head. Hoppy fresh aroma. Flavor is mostly hops. The malt sweetness fades quickly. No depth. The hops are slightly sharp but pleasant. Very easy to drink. Not for someone looking for complexity in their bee, but good for social occasions.
