Draft at the Durham World Beer Festival. Clear gold with a big white head. Yeasty nose, light tropical fruit. Fruitiness comes forward in the flavor, but the yeastiness is still bold. Decent.

Bomber. Golden with off-white head. Aroma is sweeter fruits and flowers with spice. Flavor is fruit esters and hoppy floral with more spice and a little too much sweetness, cereal grains, and yeast. Booze is very well hidden.

Poured from 22oz bottle into Trappist glass. Pours a golden orange color with very little head. Tastes and smells a little like hay with definite malty overtones. You can taste the alcohol at the end of a sip, but not in a warm way. Definitely an in between ranking beer

Bottle:   Golden in color, moderate frothy white head, spotty lacing, very light carbonation.   Herbal like and somewhat of a overcooked vegetable nose.   Seems to be a little bit of wet cardboard.   Luckily the vegetable aspect isn’t as apparent on the tongue.   It is rather cereal like, and a bit of wet cardboard.   Backside picks up with the overcooked vegetable aspect.   I have the sneaky suspicion that this one might be on the way down.   Not overly bad, but as a Blonde Dubbel it seems to fail.   I will say its 8% ABV isn’t really detectable.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Very minor sweetness on the exit, slightly malty, lingering cereal like aspects.   Fairly boring on the whole.   Not a bad beer, perhaps a bit past its prime, but one that I wonder if it was that appealing to begin with.

Bottle shared with Angeloregon... Poured clear, pale orange with a thin white head that dissipated quickly. Floral hops, wheat malts and spices on the nose. Hoppy brew with citrus fruits, acidic alcohol tones and earthy yeast and esters. Wheat malts and a candy, sweet-cream finish.

Pours hazy gold with a little white head. Aromas of mild fruit and very light funk? Medium body with sturdy carbonation. Seems a bit orangey, has yeast spice, mild fruit hop, maybe no funk. It’s very Belgian, but in a rather light way. It’s "thick" and more sweet than otherwise. Pretty good beer.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent strongly carbonated light orange colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was leatherey. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of hops fruity sweet and candy. An OK brew just nothing special.
