UPDATED: DEC 21, 2019 Bottle from my father, bought in Spain. Dark malty smell with a candy-like aroma, also roasted with chocolate. Some barrel notes. Also quite tart for a stout. Surprised by the ABV, thought it was closer to 10%. Feels a bit boozy.
courtesy of Antonio Rey - black beer with a beige foam left; lactic aroma of mocha, vanilla; sweet, a good malt backbone, grainy; more vanilla and lactic notes in the finish
Bottle 33 cl. Pours a deep, dark brown with a vague tint of red. Tart, woody aroma. Medium body, subtle roast and a massive tartness - let’s just call it sour. I’m not sure what this edition is all about, but it simply sems like a Stout gone sour. 141215
