Dark brown with a creamy off white head and sheets of lacing. Looks good. Chocolate malts stand out the most with roast coming up near. There is a residual sweetness abound throughout the nose. There is bitter hops and almost, just almost a hint of smoke. Roast is out and around a lot more in the flavors. The chocolate malts are overpowered. Fruits. Dark and sweet fruits. No smoke here really. There is a tingly mouthfeel that is comprised of tiny pricks of alcohol. The body is fair, and the finish stands out with bitter roast mostly.

22 oz bottle. Poured dark brown, almost black with an short lived tan head. The nose is caramel, licorice, roasted malt, and some hops. The taste is similar with some molasses as well. The palate is medium-heavy and somewhat chewy. Good porter.

Bomber pours dark brown-black with no retaining head into a pint glass; has odd lacing for the style. Aroma of black malt, slightly creamy, with a little hazelnut, coffee. Coffee and hazelnuts dominate the flavor, nutmeg. Bit of a weak finish. Medium bodied with a fuzzy mouthfeel and a medium level of carbonation. Pretty good, but why do so many porters have such weak finishes.

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Poured black/slight ruby in color with a small, creamy, dense, rocky, light brown head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Slightly sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of roasted malt, chocolate, slight hops, slight tar, and a hint of smoke. Medium body. Slightly sticky texture. Roasted malt, chocolate, and slight tar finish.

Bottle: Pours almost black, ruby edging, huge tan head. Aroma of caramel, black licorice and roasted malts. Flavour is heavy on the molasses with some harsh carbonation, the usual chocolate and coffee suspects. Ok.

Dark with small tan head. Typical porter aroma and better than average porter flavor. Thin mouthfeel, but a nice finish. Not my favorite style... but my wife likes them, so I try them.

Nose is of chocolate and light roast. A little earthy as well. Underlying sweetness is there as well. Pours dark brown, almost black, some dark red hues are there as well. Thin creamy brown head. Chocolate flavors, sweet dark malt, roasted malts. Earthy bitterness in the finish. Sweet/dry lingers on the palate.

Bomber from ditmier - thanks, Eric! Dark chocolate pour with mild sentiment and a huge fluffy tan head. Strong milk chocolate aroma, with an almost sea salt-like tang to it, like one of those completely awesome Vosges chocolate bars. Coffee and moderate hops in the flavor, a nicely roasted taste characterizing the whole, along with a smooth mouthfeel and moderately chalky finish. Solid as hell, would love to try this one on tap.
