The brewer told me that they tried to make an American style IPA with this! I think they succeed quite well! Unclear amber/orange body with a thick foamy light tan head. Lots of hops in the nice and heavy aroma. Sweet middle with a good bitterness around it. Toffee tones. Flavor is hoppy, nutty and caramelly. Not that full but tasty. Sweet in the end. Another good one from Hantverksbryggeriet!

Aroma: juniper, grapefruit, slightly acrid. Less foresty than the flavour... pine.
Flavour: very bitter, juniper... astringent, aluminium... funky, acrid, metallic again. Roasted nice malts, somehow mild considering the bitterness. Very interesting, caramel & slight sweetness. Vanilla. Definitely complex for being so ’weak’.
Appearance: huge frothy head. Like a float. Yellowish dark amber body. Slightly turbid.
Palate: nearly flat, thick, smooth.

Reddish-brown liquid that was a bit cloudy, large white foam.
The beer smelled not a lot of citrus as one would expect, nah it was more sweet.
Citrus tones, caramel, nuts, apple in flavor. The body was medium, aftertaste did not last for a long time. Easy to drink and pretty good. SaintMatty (1308), Tallinn, Estonia

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 1, 2009 330ml bottle at Tegners Gömställe where it was served in a tulip glass at the very right drinking temperature. The body colour was hazy, orange-amber topped by a fading, lacing head. Aroma of mid-sweet malts with hops beneath. Flavour of caramel malts balanced by tingling piny hops, gradually developing into a dry bitter ending. Soft in the mouth. Tasty and refreshing ipa (Stockholm, 03.09.2009).
