Our Gingerbread Stout blends in perfect harmony with the cinnamon kissed oak staves of the apple brandy barrels in which it was matured. This barrel aged imperial milk stout crescendos with notes of honey, chocolate and fragrant cinnamon.

UPDATED: FEB 4, 2020 Bottle split at L6 at the Tipple's had tasting, thanks to Leighton, 17/04/19. Black with a well presented tan head. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, light spice, brandy notes. Taste comprises chocolate, toffee, oak, mellow brand tones, calvados, light black peppery spice, dried fruits, raisins. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol at the curtain call. Decent enough impy stout but lacking any wow factor for me.

UPDATED: OCT 4, 2019 Taster pour at bottle share -- thanks Stacey (2017 vintage). Appearance is opaque black with no sparkle thin ring of beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is mild apple (almost like Apple Jacks) mild chocolate and sweet roasted malts. Taste is strong apple brandy covers up the base stout. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth thin texture soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall nice but not complex and the apple brandy is too strong in the flavor.
