Taste is complex and heavy with loads of warming alcohol, wood, oak, syrup, sherry, toffee, spices and ripe fruits. Finish is sweet, boozy and heavy with some leather, licorice, spices, wood, oak, sherry, vanilla, toffee and syrup. Heavy and complex, but I’m not a big fan of oloroso or sherry, so this is way too boozy for my taste.

On tap at Banksia, Copenhagen. Pours hazy amber brownish with small tan head. Malty, yeast, dried fruit, caramel, wood, sherry, Quite sweet with some bitterness. Medium bodied, bit warming.

W aromacie nieco jak nalewka ziołowa, choć ze słodkimi, karmelowo - miodowymi akcentami i wyraźną beczką, wyczuwalna wanilia. Jest też lekko gryzący w nozdrza alkohol. W smaku nie tak pełne jak mogłoby być, lekko ziołowe, karmel, drewno, lekki rosół, nieco owocowej likierowości, ale najbardziej przeszkadza alkohol, mocno wyeksponowany i gryzący. Nic wielkiego.

Tap @ Beer Temple, sample size. Deep red-brown color, hazy. Light beige head. Aroma’s: sweetish, a bit buttery. Retronasal it’s fruity, sheery-ish, sweet, toffee, alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet, alcohol, fruity, sherry. Strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Finish with wood, light bitter.
