davidezdonz (1896) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - JUN 23, 2020
UPDATED: JUN 26, 2020 A 500ml bottle, with a best before date of November 2025. Poured into an Alvinne teku glass. It was a hazy orange red rusty colour with a half finger beige head that had decent retention and left some nice lacing. Aromas were tart, sweet, cherry, cherry pip, grape skin, acetone, with hints of raspberry yoghurt. Tastes sour, tart, cherry, cherry pie, strawberries, wood, with notes of vinegar. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Overall nice cherry flavours that are well balanced. I can’t help but wonder what this tasted like fresh.

tiong (16867) - Espoo, FINLAND - OCT 19, 2019

neongolden (4394) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 2, 2019
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2019 (500ml bottle shared @ Nische's tasting, not even sure where this appeared from but thanks!) Pours hazy medium orangish red with a whitish head. Notes of quite sour and concentrated cherries, a little jammy sweetness, cherry skins, almonds, high lactic sourness, light fruit vinegar, oak, red wine tannin, light musty cellar funk. High tartness continues all the way through the finish. Medium bodied, with soft effervescent carb. The cherry has likely faded with age and left the sourness even more unmasked; it's a nice beer but now a little acid-heavy.

Thursday, November 22, 2018. Bottle. 8%. Purchase ("Bier Market", Nantes (44), FR). Home. A sparkling red-pink scarlet clear beer with an average off-white head ; short retention ; good lacing. Cherry+ (such as in jar of cherries), vinegar notes. Medium dry refreshing sour, light to medium round sweet, bitter note. Light to medium body, oily texture, soft gaseous, fruity sweet-acid lasting finish. Overall, elegant and very fruity :)

Bottle from Be Hoppy. Nose is very deep Cherry, Raspberry, Joghurt. Palate is a super balanced mix of oaky Cherry Pips and joghurty Raspberry. Really good, a Bit to expensive to drink alone though, so share it with friends ;)

anstei (3818) - SWITZERLAND - MAR 29, 2018
Bottle, vintage 2015, courtesy of SinH4. Pours hazy orange with a decent head. Aroma is acetone, cherry, stones, dense ripe fruit. Body is medium, sweetly sour, lively carbonation, vinegar, acetone. Still cherries and stone, peel. A bit too harsh to be thoroughly enjoyable.

SinH4 (15466) - Garching bei München, GERMANY - MAR 29, 2018
2015 bottle. Hazy amber color with a red touch and a white head. Aroma is fresh yoghurt, barrel funk, surprisingly little fruit. Taste is intense cherry skin, acetone, tannins, acidic, a touch bitter almonds. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Awesome, but a bit too acidic.
