Bottled 0,33L. Deep reddish brown color; very hazy and dense. Extremely persistent and creamy head, optimal clinging. Powerful and decided alcoholic aroma, much fresh and fruity with final spices notes; decidedly complex. Medium pungente and soupy taste; notes of anise, must, cellar, clear grape, malt. Moderately sweet and high alcoholic perception on the end. Great belgian ale.

Appearance: Dark mahogany color with ruby red hues. Dark, but far from opaque. Pillowy tan head with airy texture and good retention.
Aroma: Earthy feel with a nice kind of blue and black berry estery yeast notes. Faint hints of solventy/leathery alcohol presence.
Flavor: Lavender spiced dark chocolaty malt profile with decent estery fruit notes like blueberry and cranberry. Very nice, gentle herbal hops hiding behind the dark malty surface.
Mouthfeel/Palate: Medium to full body with high carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel.
Overall Impression: Balanced dark belgian ale with intense fruity and peppery, phenolic(?) notes. Restrained caramel sweetness, and spicy hop bite. Good.

Robust malt aroma. Brown color with a small white head. Bitter beginning that fades in the finish. Gets sweeter in the end.

Picked up a 33cl bottle in Brugge Deep bronze body with thick beige head. Rich aroma of chocolate, nut and toffee. Thick texture, rich body, medium carbonation. More rich chocolate, nut and bready malt on the body, undertones of sultana and plum. Slight dry bitter finish. Very nice, clean bock bier.

750 ml bottle shared by footbalm while watching the Superbowl. Pours a cloudy brown color with a thick off-white head. A sweet malty nose, fruit and dry yeast. A lively flavor; rich malts, fruity, lots of brown sugar-type flavors, sweet and easygoing. Some strong tartness is noticed as well. Decent.

0,33 l bottle.
Poured deep brown with a delicious lacing, creamy&foamy tan head. Fine roasted grainy aroma with coffe, some candy sugar and caramel. Fruity belgian yeast character with plum, chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel with a mild coffee character, caramel and candy sugar. Roasted grains, fruits make the palate fine. Dry roasted aftertaste with some freaky but pleasant fruity feeling. IT was delicious, pleasant...
