this is a good beer. so expensive, not really worth all the money you pay. one of the strongest examples of a witbier. very spicy. tons of coriander and lemon. almost makes for a meaty taste. I think it is too strong in lemon and coriander though, and that’s about all you can taste, though it has a nice medium-full body and a grainy, wheat feel to it. My biggest complaint is that if you try to drink more than 2 of these, the flavor starts getting cloying, as hoegaarden displays plenty of that bubble gum estery sweetness. One of the better witbiers though overall.

bottled and on tap in the UK. Cloudy pale yellow, fruity nose. Fruity and wheaty, slightly sweet and hoppy. Hints of coriander, orange peel and fruit.

On tap @ Falling Rock poured a cloudyyellow with a small lasting white head. Aromas of coriander, wheat and a hint of citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of wheat, citrus and light coriander with a crisp sweet finish.

haha, just realized I had yet to rate this beauty. In Belgium I drank this and loved it. Here it is good, but just not the same. Hazy light yellow with a nice white head. I smell yeast, slight citrus and maybe vanilla?...flavor is tart and thirst quenching. Finish is carbonated and a tad dry. I do love this beer and very good mixed with Guinness too!

Bottled. Hazy golden with a huge, white head. Yes, it smells and tastes like a weissbier and it's dry and rather flat.

Bottled. Lovely beer. Hazy yellow. Citrusy with a spicy touch of coriander. Yummy and refreshing. This type has become a new favourite.
