UPDATED: MAY 7, 2022 On tap at High Water, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of spicy galangal, citrus zest and light lacto. Flavour is full of spicy galangal, salt and lacto. Not feeling this — could be good but I don’t get the gingery galangal character or much else of note. Okay.

UPDATED: OCT 28, 2021 Light cherry apple aroma with light bread. Pours a golden color with small disappearing white head. Apple flavor with a strange bitterness. Light bodied with medium co2, lingering unpleasant bitterness. Drain pour for me. Not a fan

UPDATED: APR 27, 2020 Bottle pour, clear amber color. Smells like martinellis sparkling cider. The apple is very pronounced so this tastes closer to a cider. Nicely balanced and the 7.3 abv doesn’t stand out. Fairly light in flavor.

UPDATED: MAR 4, 2019 Aroma is light malty, lactic, citrus. Pale yellow with white head. Taste is light sweet, light bitter and light sour. Light body, dry feel and light sour finish.

Aroma is lime/lemon lime, fruit and wheat. The flavor is lemon-lime, wheat, mild coriander and a tart/slightly sweet finish.

Bottle thanks to Brian! Pours clear golden, small white head, decent lacing. Aroma is odd, sage(?), lemon, sea air, ginger root, green apples. Flavor is light tart, very light bitter, lightly salty, some sweetness mixed in as well. Medium body. Huh.

Bottle: Pours a bright golden color with a small, short lived white head. Aromatic with spice and brine, an herbal juniper type smell takes over. Tastes salty, slight sour, and lingering herbal floral notes. Light apple juice flavor is nice, but the heavy spice, juniper and ginger, really takes over. I guess that’s the galangal root… pretty overpowering. Light bits of apple in the end.

Bomber poured a clear gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast, light apple and light saltiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of wheat, yeast, light apple and a hint of saltiness with a smooth dry lingering fruity finish.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity weak sour salty apple aroma. Fruity malty weak sour salty spicy flavor. Has a fruity weak sour salty spicy apple finish.
