A deliciously refreshing golden ale made with Welsh Honey. It is dry in flavour with the sweetness of the honey emerging in the aroma leading to a pleasing bitter finish.

Subdued and way gimicky. My bottle waz 5 % unlike the 4.5 % lameness listed here. The honey concept sux 99 % of the time in beer.

Aroma is sweet honey, golden, small off-white head. Flavour is a mild honey, good aftertaste. Light bodied, balanced, sweet and tasty. Novel. Thank You Mabel and Jerc.

[2583-20091113] 500mL bottle. Mild grainy green chocolate malt aroma. Slightly hazy, light orange brown body with a quick foamy white head. Mild fishy English hops flavour is a little sweet. Medium body. Drinkable but not great.

2009-11-13. Crisp dark yellow body with a modest foamy beige head. 3+ Interesting aroma, floral, light vegetation like flower stems? 6+ Flavour is similar, mild floral hops, light grainy touches have a light brief astringency. 6+ Average bodied palate. Decent but mild. Bottle as Conwy welsh Honey Bitter c/o Mabel’s brother.

bottle, Marks & Spencer Monmouth, labelled M&S Welsh Honey Bitter. Golden colour, slightly hazy, small white head. Malty with lovely honey flavours and hints of herbs. Lingering finish with a good touch of aromatic and bitter hops.
